Building a prosperous, carbon‑neutral Europe with renewables and regenerative agriculture.

Charles Wakefield, the founder of Castrol Motor Oil in 1896, pioneered a “Castor Economy.” Alongside Rudolf Diesel, creator of the diesel engine in 1900, he envisioned a clean, green, non-toxic, sustainable castor-based economy powered by the diesel engine. Today, 84% of the world’s energy still relies on fossil fuels and gas, and 97% of global transportation depends on fossil fuels, with the majority powered by diesel.
Solution: green oil = renewables.
Because our proprietary, high-yield, long-living, drought-resistant, patented castor strains (WAINER RICINUS TREE) are not publicly traded, our oil prices and energy costs are set through fixed, exclusive contracts. This enables greater economic and policy stability while mitigating market volatility and inflation. We work on 15-year fixed contracts with our cooperative of farmers, with price reviews every five years.
Castor oil is essential to advances in medicine and technology and is used in hundreds of applications across both industries. Recent breakthroughs include bio-plastics: castor-based biodegradable plastic can be up to 13 times stronger than fossil-based plastics. Blending 61% castor bioplastic with 39% fossil-based plastic retains biodegradable characteristics. This could help reduce the fossil-plastic footprint through recycling and redistribution; if the new plastic mix reaches the ocean, it can degrade, and in landfills it can behave like compost or fertilizer.
Cultivating food and energy on the same land maximizes Earth’s potential.
Giving European farmers a second income can increase earnings per hectare, per year, for each farming family.
Our previous pilot tests in Nicaragua and Honduras confirmed the viability and feasibility of the concept, with more than 700 farmers participating in the initial research and development trials. See Ecopower Initiative and Rainforest Reliance for related work.
Conclusion: European WAINER TREE castor/ricinus biodiesel production can replace fossil fuels entirely or replace at least 25% of fossil fuel use as a castor-based eco-diesel additive, helping the European transport industry move towards carbon-neutral performance.
Estimated retail price: €1.55–€1.60 per litre of Eco-Diesel.
We aim to produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Sustainable Marine Fuel (SMF), and Sustainable Bio-Gas (SBG) at prices below comparable fossil-fuel alternatives.

Young Coffee Trees, together with Wainer Ricinus Trees (Providing Shade & Nutrients).

By cultivating Food & Energy on the same (marginal) land, we not only produce all the energy we require — we also produce an abundance of food crops such as maize/corn, beans, peanuts, chickpeas, soy, sunflower, and coffee, along with fruits and vegetables such as mangos, avocados, grapes, olives, tomatoes, lettuce, and spinach.
Here we show you how we produce our coffee together with our energy — maximizing our potential and Earth’s potential.
Ricinus WAINER Trees (Castor) together with maize/corn — maximizing our potential and Earth’s potential.

Throughout 2023, 2024, 2025, and now 2026, we have conducted tests on our WAINER Tree strains in Italy, with highly satisfactory results. The WAINER Trees withstood winter temperatures ranging from 2°C to 7°C, as well as occasional hail, frost, and snow. After winter, they endured severe drought in July and August 2024, with prolonged temperatures in the high 30s. Despite the lack of rainfall and significant leaf burn, the trees adapted through natural resilience to extreme cold and heat cycles, demonstrating the robustness of our unique WAINER Ricinus strains. These strains were cultivated from sea level, where summer temperatures exceed 40°C without rain for two to three months, to elevations of 1,000 metres and even 3,000 metres. This work has helped us develop Ricinus strains adaptable to a wide range of climates and environments. Given the unpredictability of weather under climate change, developing crop varieties that can adapt to future conditions is increasingly important.
Food and energy production on the same land maximizes Earth's potential, provides European farmers with a secondary income, and reduces costs.

Additional benefits & afterthoughts; All moneys Europe currently spends annually on the importation of diesel (Hundreds of Billions of Euros) purchasing Diesel from OPEC countries (20% of the world’s oil comes from Iran alone) that use those benefits against us, will remain in Europe and go towards benefiting the European Population - thus limiting foreign dependency and improving National and International Security.
In the event of a world war (currently on the thresholds) our above proposed plan may be the only feasible and viable option available and one that can be implemented in a relatively short time frame. Interesting facts; during WW1 the USA ran a successful Castor Campaign that spilt over into WW2, USA Castor cultivation was replaced entirely with fossil fuel from 1952. Today it is no longer viable or feasible to rely on expensive fossil pollutants.
Time to revisit the proven solutions of the past.
